Eating, Stretching & Exercising
Keeping your body in top shape is important when you are having any medical problems. We strongly encourage eating healthy, stretching, and exercising, only when you are physically ready. Even going for a walk each day is a step in the right direction.
When you visit our office, we’ll help you determine what types of exercises will help in your situation. Certain low impact activities can actually relieve pain and help prevent future problems. Riding a bicycle or an indoor exercise bike is very good for the lower back and can help build lower muscles.
Eating healthy is also an excellent way to lose excess weight, build your immune system, and give your body the nutrients it needs to repair joints, muscles, and bones. Whole foods, fruits, and vegetables are great for most diets, but we can help refer you to a dietitian if you need help with your diet.
